Regulations on educational and methodological work

1. General Provisions

The Regulations on educational and methodological work (hereinafter referred to as the Regulations) were developed in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 29, 2007 No. 583 “On approval of the Rules for the organization and implementation of educational, methodological and scientific-methodological work”, and the Order of the Minister of Science and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 8, 2023 No. 263 “On amendments to the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 29, 2007 No. 583 “On approval of the Rules for the organization and implementation of educational, methodological and scientific-methodological work in educational organizations” .

The Regulations regulate educational and methodological work at the Institution «Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsouz» (hereinafter referred to as the College).

2. Goals and objectives

The purpose of the educational and methodological work of the College is to create a favorable environment that stimulates and promotes the continuous improvement of professional competence of teachers.

The objectives are:

—   improving the scientific and methodological level of teachers in mastering innovative pedagogical technologies;

—   studying, summarizing and organizing the broadcast of advanced pedagogical experience;

—   scientific, methodological, informational and organizational and methodological support for creative initiatives of teachers.

3. Content and organization of educational and methodological work

The educational and methodological work of the College includes the following areas:

—   organization of individual educational, methodological and scientific-methodological work of teaching staff;

—   coordinating the work of departments to identify, generalize and implement advanced pedagogical experience;

—   assistance in organizing advanced training and retraining of teachers through courses and internships;

—   providing assistance to teaching staff in the development of educational and teaching materials;

—   monitoring the implementation of pedagogical innovations and new educational technologies in the educational process, aimed at strengthening the role of practical training, active teaching methods based on solving real professional problems;

—   development of methodological recommendations on improving the educational process;

—   planning to attend and discuss open lessons;

—   organizing methodological seminars, conferences, exhibitions, literature reviews;

—   accumulation and systematization of materials on scientific and methodological work;

—   development of proposals to improve the efficiency of methodological work.
