Master class «Introduction to the profession of a marketer: fundamentals and prospects»

On the eve of Labor Day, as part of the implementation of the Regional Plan for the Year of Working Professions, on September 10, 2025, teacher Gromova E.V. organized a master class «Introduction to the profession of a marketer: fundamentals and prospects» at Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz. The event was held jointly with a practical worker, the head of the production center «Qanat production» Nurtazina G.S.

The participants were 2nd year students of the specialty «Marketing», group M-225.

The master class consisted of the following stages:

• Introduction: greeting, definition of the lesson objectives and a brief description of the program.
• Theoretical part: the role of a marketer in business, his main tasks, marketing tools.
• The demo part. Gulnara Serikbayevna demonstrated practical techniques, technologies, and marketing tools for analyzing the market and target audience, creating and enhancing products, customer flow, understanding sales, and social media. Examples of cases from the Qanat production production center are considered, what work has been done, and what marketing tools have been used.
• Discussion: What should a marketer be able to do and know today? The students asked questions and discussed.

In conclusion, the participants shared their opinions and provided feedback, highlighting the most interesting points.

Thus, the master class provided an opportunity:

— transfer of practical experience in real time and with the active participation of students;

— interactive communication;

— to get acquainted with new, advanced marketing tools under the guidance of a teacher and a practical worker.

At the end of the event, Gulnara Serikbayevna wished future marketing specialists success in their studies, in their professional activities and in achieving their goals.
