As part of the promotion of the “Law and Order” ideology, a preventive meeting was held between third-year students majoring in Law and representatives of the Police Department of Kostanay Region. During the event, law enforcement officers delivered a lecture on the prevention of criminal offences. Particular attention was paid to such pressing issues as dropper schemes involving bank accounts and cards, robbery, fraud, and the distribution of narcotic substances through hidden drop-off locations commonly known as “dead drops.” The police representatives explained the potential legal consequences of involvement in unlawful activities, described common methods used to lure young people into criminal schemes, and emphasized the importance of complying with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As part of the implementation of the «Law and Order» concept, a cognitive competition was held on September 18 among 3rd year students of the specialty «Jurisprudence», aimed at testing and consolidating knowledge in the field of criminal legislation. The organizer and teacher of the competition was the teacher of special disciplines Uspanova Z.N. The main purpose of the event was to increase students’ interest in the study of criminal legislation, develop legal literacy, logical thinking, ability to work in a team, as well as to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in solving practical tasks. The competition was held in several rounds, each of which included tasks of different levels of complexity. Students performed both team tasks requiring coordinated work, mutual assistance and collective decision-making, and individual tasks that allowed each participant to demonstrate the level of personal knowledge and training.
