IT Accountant Competition

On April 29, the Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz hosted the IT Accountant competition among 2nd-year students of the Accounting and Auditing specialty, dedicated to the memory of PhD in Economics, Professor Kitebayeva K.A.

The purpose of the competition was to improve the quality of student training in this specialty.

The tasks included expanding and deepening knowledge in special disciplines, developing the skills to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, and improving the level of proficiency in modern information technologies.

The competition was attended by 25 students from groups B-224, B-225, Bk-23 and PBU-21. The competition tasks were evaluated by a competent jury consisting of teachers and chief accountants from the college and lyceum «Bilim-Innovation».

According to the results of the competition, the winners were:

Grand Prix — Anna Grishina, group B-224

1st place — Karina Konyrbaeva, PBU-21 group

2nd place — Elena Popova, group B-224

3rd place — Gabit Tairzhan, Bk-23 group.

The organizers expressed their gratitude to the participants, their supervisors and the jury members for the work done, congratulating the winners on their well-deserved victory.

This competition promotes the development of professional skills of accountants, including in the field of information technology, which meets the modern requirements of the profession, including the possession of specialized software and analytical skills for working with financial information in an IT environment.
