Open Day “Digital Start: From School Student to Prompt Engineer”

On April 27, 2026, as part of career guidance activities, the Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz hosted an Open Day on the topic: “Digital Start: From School Student to Prompt Engineer”.

The event was attended by students from schools in Kostanay city and Kostanay district:

KSU “Secondary School No. 2 of Tobyl, Kostanay District” of the Education Department of Kostanay Region;

KSU “Sadchikov Secondary School of Kostanay District” of the Education Department of Kostanay Region;

KSU “Secondary School No. 16 of Kostanay city” of the Education Department of Kostanay Region;

KSU “Secondary School No. 21 of Kostanay city” of the Education Department of Kostanay Region.

During the Open Day, students learned about the college’s educational programs, features of the learning process, and student life. They also had the opportunity to communicate with teachers and students, ask questions, and receive detailed answers about admission and studies.

The practical part of the event attracted particular interest. Students were introduced to the principles of generative neural networks and had the opportunity to try themselves as beginner specialists in prompt engineering.

The Open Day became an important stage in the college’s career guidance work, helping students make informed career choices and increasing their interest in modern digital technologies.
