Regional Competition «IT Accountant»

On February 26, 2026, the Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz held the regional competition «IT Accountant», dedicated to the memory of K.E.N., Professor Kitebayeva Kenzhegul Almagambetovna, in the field of Accounting and Audit, among students of technical and professional, post-secondary education organizations.

The purpose of the competition is to improve the quality of training among students of technical and professional colleges in the field of Accounting and Audit.

Objectives of the competition:

— expanding and deepening students’ knowledge of special disciplines and professional modules in preparation for the competition;

— formation of students’ skills in using theoretical knowledge in practical activities.

— increase the level of students’ knowledge on the use of modern information technologies.

The competition task consisted of a practical stage. At this stage, the participants performed a practical task in the 1C: Enterprise program. The task was aimed at testing the participants’ skills in accounting using information technologies and included working with accounting data, documents, and reports.

The competition was attended by 25 teams representing colleges in the Kostanay region and the city of Kostanay, as well as colleges from seven regions of Kazakhstan.

Our college was represented by 2 teams – «Lady of Audit» and «Super Audit», which included students Grishina A.A., Popova E.V., Salikhova A.N., Kravchenko K.S., Sarsenbaev D.M., Konyrbaeva K.S.

Their professionalism was noted by the college administration with letters of commendation.

According to the results of the competition among colleges of the Kostanay region and the city of Kostanay, the places were distributed as follows:

Grand Prix – KGKPS «Rudnensky Polytechnic College»;

2nd place – Zhitikarinsky Polytechnic College;

3rd place – Denisovsky Vocational College.
