lecture «Akhmet Baitursynov — teacher of the nation!»

On September 5, in honor of the birthday of the great public figure, educator, poet and scientist Akhmet Baitursynov, a thematic lecture «Akhmet Baitursynov — teacher of the nation» was held for 1st year students. The lecture was conducted by A.A. Zhadyrasynova, head of the Center for Research, Restoration and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay Region.

Students learned about Akhmet Baitursynov’s significant contribution to the development of Turkology, education and culture, as well as his role in the formation of the national identity of the Kazakh people. Baitursynov devoted his life to education, translations and pedagogy, leaving a deep mark in the history of Kazakhstan as a great teacher and spiritual leader of the nation.
