Choosing a profession is not an easy matter!

Quite right!! Choosing a profession is an important stage in life that can affect the future.                             It requires careful thought, self-reflection and analysis of various factors such as interests, abilities, labor market and personal values. To this end, on November 08, 2024, as part of career guidance, the head of the career guidance center, A.Zh. Kusymbaeva, conducted field work in secondary schools in the village of Sarykol, Sarykol district. The event was organized for students in grades                    9-11 and covered the following educational institutions:

• KSU «Uritskaya comprehensive school of the 1st department of education of the Sarykol district»;

• KSU «Uritskaya school-lyceum of the education department of the akimat of the Sarykol region»»;

• KSU «Umirzak Sultangazin Comprehensive School of the Education Department of the Sarykol Distric»»;

• KSU «Novouritsky comprehensive school of the education department of the Sarykol region».

During career guidance meetings, explanatory work was carried out on specialties, rules for admission and acceptance of documents to an educational institution. The participants of the event received information on how important the informed choice of profession, the quality of education and constructive behavior in the labor market for a successful professional path and, ultimately, life satisfaction.

The specialist introduced the children to the world of professions and explained what factors influence her choice. Career guidance, according to the organizers, should begin at school to help students consciously approach the choice of their future profession.

In the second half of the year, an «Open Day» is planned, within which all schoolchildren of the city of Kostanay and Kostanay region will be able to get acquainted with the material base of the college. The organizers hope that such meetings will interest graduates of grades 9-11 and their parents.

Collaboration between school, student and college is a key factor in this process, and everyone involved in this interaction is actively interested.
