School Career Guidance Group

The career guidance team of the Institution «Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz», consisting of students of the P-82 group, in January 2025 held a series of field events in schools of the Kostanay region. The purpose of the visits was to help students make an informed choice of profession, taking into account their individual characteristics, interests and needs of the labor market.

The team visited the following schools:

• MSI «Secondary school named after Abai of the education department of the city of Rudny» of the Education Department of the akimat of Kostanay region;

• MSI «Abai Comprehensive School of the Education Department of the Fedorovsky District» of the Education Department of the Akimat of Kostanay Region;

• MSI «Lenin comprehensive school of the education department of the Fedorovsky district».

During the meetings, students and representatives of the college told schoolchildren in detail about the specialties that are implemented in the college, focusing on their relevance and demand in the labor market. Issues related to applying for training and living conditions in the hostel were also highlighted.

Particular attention was paid to student life: schoolchildren were told about the possibilities of participating in cultural, sports and scientific events that are organized in college. This allowed future applicants to get a complete picture not only of the educational process, but also of extracurricular activities that contribute to the comprehensive development of the individual.

Such career guidance meetings help schoolchildren make an informed choice of their future profession and educational institution, and also contribute to the popularization of college educational programs among the youth of the region.
