Out-of-class career guidance lesson for schoolchildren on the topic: «Military-patriotic club «Sarmat» and its history».






Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz hosted an open day organized as part of career guidance for 9th grade students. The event took place on February 06, 2025 and brought together schoolchildren from the KSU «Zarechnaya comprehensive school — No. 1 of the education department of Kostanay district» of the Education Department of the akimat of Kostanay region and KSU «Secondary school named after Álıhana Bókeıhana of the education department of the city of Kostanay» of the Education Department of the akimat of Kostanay region.
The organizers of the event focused on the importance of correctly determining the professional inclinations and abilities of adolescents for their future. During the meeting, students in grades 9-11 had the opportunity to ask questions about various professions, learning conditions, job prospects and necessary skills.
NVP teacher A.N. Adrov introduced schoolchildren to the military-patriotic club «Sarmat», founded in college on February 23, 2005. The club is a voluntary association of students of 1-3 years, the purpose of which is to introduce young people to military-patriotic work, preparation for service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, actions in emergency situations and the education of patriotism.
The activities of the club include various areas, such as parachute landing training, light water training, combat training, fire training, general physical training and preparation for survival in extreme conditions. During its work, Sarmat established cooperation with various organizations, including military units and rescue services. The club team became the winner and prize-winner at training camps and competitions at various levels.
Over the years of the club’s existence, 357 people performed 564 parachute jumps, of which 56 became parachutists athletes of the 3rd category. Participation in various rallies and competitions, such as the Aybyn republican training camp and international military parachute all-around competitions, also brought the club many awards. Pupils of the club are successfully preparing for service in the Armed Forces, many of them served in the airborne assault troops, and the command of military units has repeatedly noted their achievements.
Events of this kind will continue, as they contribute to the formation of qualified and demanded specialists in the future.
