Curatorial hour on the theme: «People and language are inseparable»

On December 05, 2024, a single curatorial hour on the theme: «People and language are inseparable» was held at the college, as part of the implementation of the Zhetkinshektin Zheti Zhargysy project.
The purpose of the event was to form students’ respect for the Kazakh language as the most important element of national culture and strengthen the sense of unity of the people through awareness of the value of their native language.
At the curatorial hour, students:
We got acquainted with the history and evolution of the Kazakh language.
We discussed the role of language as a carrier of traditions, culture and national spirit.
They gave examples of how language affects the unity and identity of a people.
Special attention was paid to the importance of the state language in modern Kazakhstan and its role in the development of society. The students actively participated in the discussions and offered their ideas on popularization of the Kazakh language among young people.
The event ended with a collective reading of Mukagali Makatayev’s poem «Úsh baqytym», symbolizing the connection of language, homeland and people.
