Tour to the Police Department of Kostanay region

On the eve of Labor Day, as part of the implementation of the Regional Plan for the Year of Working Professions, on October 21 and 22, 2025, 3rd-year Law students went on an excursion to the Police Department of Kostanay region.
The first point of the tour was the museum of the Department. During the visit, the future lawyers got acquainted with the history of the formation and development of the internal affairs bodies of the region, learned about the heroic exploits of police officers, and also saw unique exhibits reflecting various stages of the development of the law enforcement system.
The tour aroused great interest among the students, allowing them not only to broaden their horizons, but also to touch the profession they had chosen in practice. Representatives of the museum spoke about the specifics of the service, shared interesting cases from practice and answered numerous questions from students.
After the museum, the students visited the Operational Management Center, where they got acquainted with modern technologies used in ensuring public safety and solving crimes. The staff of the center demonstrated the operation of video surveillance systems, explained the algorithms for responding to calls, and also talked about the interaction of the Central Control Center with other police units.
Such events contribute to the formation of students’ sense of responsibility, citizenship and professional self-awareness, as well as help them better understand the importance and versatility of the work of law enforcement agencies.
