Regional Business Project Competition

“Entrepreneurship and Startups as a Driving Force for Economic Development”

Today, the regional business project competition “Entrepreneurship and Startups as a Driving Force for Economic Development” was held among students of technical and vocational education organizations of Kostanay Region. The event was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the college.

The aim of the competition was to develop entrepreneurial thinking among young people, support innovative initiatives, and build practical skills in business planning and startup activities.

Students from the following colleges of Kostanay Region took part in the competition: KSU “Lisakovsk Technical College” of the Education Department of Kostanay Region Akimat, KSU “Zhitikara Polytechnic College”, KSU “Kostanay Higher College of Motor Transport”, as well as students of the Institution “Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz”.

The participants presented original business ideas in various fields, demonstrating a high level of preparation, creativity, entrepreneurial mindset, and commitment to implementing modern and востребованные projects.

The projects were evaluated by a competent jury consisting of Gulnara Nurlanovna Abdibekova, Chief Specialist of the Education Department of Kostanay Region, Nadezhda Vladimirovna Kostenyuk, Head of the Human Capital Development Department of the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs, as well as the college’s social partner Galina Fyodorovna Rubanik, representative of JSC “Home Credit Bank”.

According to the results of the competition, the winners were awarded diplomas of different degrees.

The first-degree diploma was awarded to the team of the Institution “Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz” for the project “Eco Taste”. The team included Aliya Ibralinova, Kamila Pronkevich, and Nurai Zhusupova.

The second-degree diploma was awarded to Timur Khasenov, a student of the Institution “Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz”, for the project “Virtual Reality Archaeological Museum”.

The third-degree diploma was awarded to Anastasia Andriyanova, a student of KSU “Lisakovsk Technical College” of the Education Department of Kostanay Region Akimat, for the project “Ogonyok”.

All participants of the competition received certificates for active participation, while project supervisors were awarded letters of appreciation for the professional preparation of students and their contribution to the development of youth entrepreneurship.

Such events contribute to the development of entrepreneurial activity among young people, the formation of innovative thinking, and the support of promising student initiatives.
