The power of the law–the power of youth: regional tournament of future lawyers

On February 20, 2026, the college hosted the regional team tournament of experts «The Power of law and legal intelligence of youth as the human resource potential of Kazakhstan» among 3rd-year Law students. The intellectual competition was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the college and became one of the most significant events of the jubilee celebrations.
The tournament brought together active, ambitious, and knowledgeable students who demonstrated a high level of legal expertise, analytical thinking, and teamwork. Three college teams took part in the competition:
— “Men in Black” — students of Kostanay Social and Technical College;
— “Order and Law” — students of Kostanay Humanitarian College;
— “Jur League” — students of Kostanay Higher College of Kazpotrebsoyuz.
Participants competed in five engaging rounds:

1. “Team Brand”
2. “Video Lot”
3. “Legal Rebus”
4. “Video Case”
5. “Captain on Duty”
   Each round required not only solid theoretical knowledge but also the ability to apply legal principles in practice, think critically, respond quickly to legal situations, and defend arguments effectively as a team.
   The distinguished jury, consisting of representatives of law enforcement agencies, the legal profession, and state revenue authorities, evaluated the teams’ knowledge, resourcefulness, and cohesion.
   According to the final results:
   1st place — “Order and Law”
   2nd place — “Jur League”
   3rd place — “Men in Black”
   The tournament clearly demonstrated the high level of preparation of future legal professionals, their commitment to professional growth, and their readiness to contribute to strengthening the rule of law in Kazakhstan. Such events enhance legal awareness among youth and confirm that today’s students represent the country’s promising кадровый potential.
