Meeting of students with representatives of the banking sector

On April 16, a meeting was held between second-year students of the Banking and Insurance Department and representatives of the Kostanay branch of Home Credit Bank and People’s Bank of Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by Galina Rubannik, HR Manager of the Kostanay branch of Home Credit Bank JSC, and Angelina Bezzubova, Digital Service Manager of the Kostanay branch of People’s Bank of Kazakhstan JSC. The event aimed to implement a strategy for improving financial literacy among the population and strengthening the college’s collaboration with social partners, including commercial banks.

During the meeting, students from the BSDk-2, BSD-4, and BSD-5 groups discussed modern banking products, reviewed current issues in the banking system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and received recommendations on how to avoid becoming a victim of fraud.

During the meeting, bank employees participated in a business game related to advising business clients on business support programs, and they also shared their experience and tips on customer service.

As part of the meeting, students had the opportunity to learn how to start their own business and how Home Credit Bank JSC can help them with this.

At the end of the meeting, the bank representatives answered questions from the student audience.
